This is an associate library which is run independently and is supported by a grant. Stock and facilities include: adult and children's books, large print books, ordnance survey maps, photocopier, newspapers, Talking Books on CD, and DVDs.
Activities include story and craft time session for toddlers, Councillors' surgery and a coffee morning. A Russian speaking group, adult craft group and a job club are also held weekly. Beginners course in computing now available on Friday afternoons, please contact the library to book your place.
Provides 4 People's Network computers with Microsoft Office and Internet access for public use. Black and white or colour printing available.
Volunteer Libraries in Sheffield (VLIS) is a group of sixteen independent Charities, each one operating a Community Library in Sheffield. As well as lending books, these libraries offer an increasing number of other activities such as cinema clubs, local societies and special children’s events.
